I will always remember: How happy he made Linda Dancing on the driveway His smile, his dry wit, his really bad taste in beer after all, you are only renting it Talking about politics, religion, life Learning to play Mr. Cardinal Puff Him wearing a fur stole with my cheerleading skirt Just hanging out, enjoying life and friendship Jerry was my neighbor, twice, and part of our extended family. Although time and distance separated us, he will always hold a special place in my heart. I love you ALL so much and I always will. Tonight when you honor Jerry, we will throw back a couple Natty Lights or Milwaukee’s Best or whatever is on clearance, have some “old people sex”, contemplate the meaning of life, and celebrate Jerry and all the joy and fun he brought into our lives.
