Anthony Patric "P.K." Keaton, 23 of Panther, departed this life on Saturday, August 11, 2012, at Route 1, Litwar.

Born on December 15, 1988, at Charlottesville Virginia, his is the son of Perry Lee Keaton and Carrie Coleman Matney.

"P. K." was preceded in death by his sister, Amber Nicole Keaton; his paternal grandparents, Dewey and Victoria Keaton; his great-grandfather, Buddy Coleman; his step-grandmother, Janet Matney; his paternal great-grandparents, Litey and Pearlie Lester.

He was a loving son, brother, grandson and friend. He was a coal miner and of the Freewill Baptist Faith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling and spending time with his wonderful family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of "P. K." and to mourn his passing include his mother, Carrie Allan Matney of Panther; his father, Perry Lee Imogene Keaton of Cameron; his maternal grandparents, Harvey and Juanita Coleman; his paternal grandparents, Robert and Addie Keaton of Iaeger; his great-grandmother, Josephine Coleman; his step-grandfather, James Matney; his step-brother, Nathan Beatriz Matney of Vale North Carolina; his step-sister, Sarah Matney Jeff Chandler of Savannah Georgia; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family at the Panther Missionary Baptist Church at Panther on Monday, August 13th after 6 pm with a special service at 7 pm.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, August 14th at the Panther Missionary Baptist Church with ministers: William Prater, Michael Casey, Hassell Rife and Delbert Hurley officiating.

Burial will follow in the Coleman Family Cemetery at Isom Branch, Mohawk.

"P. K." will be carried to his final resting place by family and friends.

Honorary pallbearers are: Matt Kissinger, Jeff Chandler, Michael Kissinger, Brandon Keaton, and Everett Matney.

He is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
