Savannah- Amarjeet S. Paintal, 78, died Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Candler Hospital with his family by his side.
He was born in Punjab, India on August 31, 1934 and immigrated to United States in March of 1983. He worked for many years with New Jersey Transit and was respected and loved by everyone.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 51 years, Balbir Paintal; son and daughter –in-law, Gurjeev and Neeta Paintal; two daughters and sons-in-law, Ravita and Sudarshan Bhimbra, Puneet and Sanjay Arora; five grandchildren; sisters, Paramjit K. Judge, Surinder K. Sikand, Tejinder K. Ahluwalia; brother-in-law, Mahinder Singh Ahluwalia; brothers, Rajbir Singh Paintel, and sister-in-law, Sudarshan Paintel.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. The family will receive friend's from 10:00 a.m. to11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
May his soul rest in peace. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
