Joan Marie Saseen Hall

Savannah- Joan Marie Saseen Hall passed away Friday, October 26, 2012 at her home under the care of Hospice Savannah.
Born on January 30, 1936 in Savannah, Joan attended Sacred Heart Catholic School and was a 1954 graduate of St. Vincent's Academy. She attended Armstrong State College and in 1958 married William J. Hall. Together they spent time between Savannah and their home in Bluffton where she enjoyed boating, fishing and crabbing on the May River and many days on the May River Sandbar. Her greatest joy however was her family. She was always available for time to be spent with her children and grandchildren and they will always remember her as "The Greatest Cook in Savannah and Bluffton". Preceding her in death are her parents, William Saseen and Rosalee White Saseen and son, Thomas "Tommy" Hall.
Survivors include her husband, William J. "Bill" Hall; sons, William "Billy" Hall, Jr., Steve Hall and his wife, Sally, Greg Hall and his wife, Melissa, all of Savannah; grandchildren, Thomas "Cory Hall, Sarah Hall, William J. "Will" Hall, III, Cooper Hall, Rivers Hall, Saseen Hall, and brother, Raymond Saseen and his wife, Margaret.
Visitation: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. A Rosary Service will be held at 6:30 in the chapel.
Memorial Mass: 11:00 a.m., Monday October 29, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Reverend Joseph Smith, Celebrant. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that remembrances be made to Hospice Savannah, Inc. P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416 or a charity of the donor's choice.
