My fond memories of Bud go back to the 2nd grade at Clubview Elementary School in Columbus. He was one of my best childhood friends and a talented teammate on the Clubview pee wee football team. Best friend I ever had,'Captain Clarke'always told it the way he saw it! The consumate host, Bud enjoyed hosting his numerous friends with good food, drink, and humerous stories recalling good times spent with his Bud'dies. Behind the scenes, Captain C helped numerous others with their business careers, offering timely advice, making recommendations or suggestions as he might say. Although the water captivated a strong interest, Bud put relatiearonships as his main hobby. He loved his friends by telling them what they needed to hear and not just tickeling their ears.As a 26 year old, he knew first hand the brevity of life when his best friend Jody, was airmailed to heaven. We all loved this caretaker and are better because he loved us too!
