Frances Elizabeth Morris Ross

Savannah- Frances Elizabeth Morris Ross, 89, passed away Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Habersham House.
The Daisy, Georgia native had lived in Savannah for over fifty years. She was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and worked as a volunteer with the American Red Cross, teaching swimming at Daffin Park and the YMCA from babies through adults. Her husband, Joseph Edward Ross preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons, Joseph T. Ross of Gainesville, FL and James E. Ross of Atlanta; sister, Jeanette Drane of Jacksonville, FL; four grandchildren, Thomas Ross, James E. Ross, Jr., Joseph T. Ross, and Rebecca Marie Ross Norman; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 13, 2012 with a Vigil Service at 6:00 p.m. at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

Graveside Service: 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with the Reverend Jeremiah McCarthy officiating.
