Sandra H. Sanders
February 26, 1938 - December 10, 2012
Savannah- Sandra H. Sanders, 74, passed away Monday, December 10, 2012 at Spanish Oaks Retreat under the care of Hospice.
She was a life-long resident of Savannah and 1956 graduate of Savannah High School. For over forty years, she was the bookkeeper for Sasser Seafood. Her hobbies included gardening and painting. She was a member of St. Francis of the Islands Episcopal Church and the Wilmington Island Garden Club, and a long time volunteer with the Inner City Night Shelter and Chatham County Humane Society.
Survivors include four daughters, Kelli Mahany, Keri Cupstid, Kendall Tanner, and Dana Rowell, and eight grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at St. Francis of the Islands Episcopal Church. Burial will follow in the church Memorial Garden.
