Margot, I've formed a small picture of your Bill while reading these notes and I wish I had known him. I know he had the perfect caregiver in you, as I have benefitted from your patient understanding as your piano student.

Dear Margot, I am saddened by the passing of 'uncle Bill' my mentor and boss. How he managed to put up with me I'll never know.Bill must have taken gof lessons. The only time I played with him he shot a 143. With you at his side, I'm sure his retirement was enjoyable. With good memories. Dick Ziegler

Our deep felt sympathy to the Cutting family on losing Bill, your dear husband, father and grandfather. Bill was our special friend too. We remember the fun we had at our dinners when we were all new to Savannah. Bill was a true gentleman with a wonderful sense of humor.

My deepest sympathies to the Cutting family. I have fond memories of spending many afternoons at Matt and Jim's house in West Hartford 35 years ago, through high school, and Red Sox games in Boston.
