David Wayne Clanton

David Wayne Clanton, 64, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2019 in Savannah. He was born January 18, 1955 in Savannah, GA to the late Lt. Col. Charles C. Clanton, Jr. (U.S.A.F. retired) and Helen McQuilan Clanton.

David retired as a salesman from Yancey Power Systems. He was of the Catholic faith and was an avid outdoorsman, and loved to play golf.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles C. Clanton, III.

Surviving are two daughters, Elizabeth Clanton, and Jennifer Clanton, both of Savannah, his sister and brother-in-law, Lynn and Larry Palmer, and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.
