Mary E. Lambert

SAVANNAH – Mary Estelle Miller Lambert, 81, died January 27, 2013.

A native of Ontario, Canada, she lived most of her life in Orange County, California where she retired after many years of teaching in the Orange Unified School System. She and her late husband, Bernard Lambert, honeymooned in Savannah in 1955 and chose this city for their retirement. They moved to The Landings on Skidaway Island twenty-two years ago.

Surviving are her daughter, Jane Elizabeth Lambert of Seven Lakes, NC; her three grandchildren, Brandon D. Like, Christopher R. Like, and Stephanie E. Like; and, her brother David J. Miller and wife Jane of Fishers, IN.

A graveside service will be held at a later date in Greenwich Cemetery.
