Joanne Marguerite "Jodie" Thomas, 39, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013.
Ms. Thomas was born on March 12, 1973 in Savannah, GA. She attended Bible Baptist School and Calvary School. Ultimately, she graduated in 1992. Jodie was a loving daughter, mother, and friend with a heart of gold. She always considered others before herself and would go out of her way to help anyone. She was also a great lover of animals.
Ms. Thomas was preceded in death by her father, Butch Thomas and her grandmother, Joanne Gill Martin. She is survived by her mother, Judy Gill Thomas; sister, Julie; children, Ashley and Trey Cooler and Hailey and Taylor Usher. She is also survived by her good friend, Ralph Brown and other family members.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service.
