GUEST BOOK

I never had the privilege of really knowing my great Aunt Ava, but from the miniscule time I did, I observed her to be a true southern beauty. As a child growing up summers with my me mama , Irene, Ava's older sister, we always seemed to cross each others path more offer than not. She was magical to me and will be missed. Solace can be found in knowing all the sisters are together again.

If Miss Ava had been a flower she would have been a Magnolia. She was a true beauty and belle of the South. Her family and friends were foremost in her life and she tended to them all with great interest and care. My mother was fortunate to call her friend ,from the time they were both teachers in Jesup during WWII ,until her death in 2006. I know you family members, especially her beloved nieces and nephews will treasure her memory and miss her many wonderful stories. It was such a unique and wonderful experience knowing Miss Ava.
