I have been fortunate to have been born into a family full of kind, caring, compassionate, funny, strong and Christian men and women. My Aunt Merle was at the top of the list. She gave birth to 7 but she mothered all her nieces and nephews just the same. She was always there for my brother and me as kids as well as adults. When I had my son Bryson and I was crying feeling like the worse parent because he had slid out of my lap when I fell asleep feeding him, she came over and sat with me and said, 'I had 7 kids and don't think for a minute I didn't fall asleep and drop one!' I looked at her and said, 'Well that explains Kelly.' We both busted out laughing! She always had a smile on her face and love in her heart. I know she is with her Heavenly Father and probably in charge of His garden. I bet Heaven has never had more beautiful flowers! God thank you for allowing me to be a part of her life! Please wrap your loving arms around my cousins as they grieve for the mother they adore!
