Brian Charles Parker

Savannah- Brian Charles Parker, 20, of Savannah, GA, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013.
He was born April 12, 1992, and was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Morrise Parker, and his uncle, Chuck Phillips. He was a 2010 graduate of Benedictine Military School, where he excelled in football, was all-region in baseball and sang in the school choir. Brian lived life to the fullest in everything he did and he will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends. He enjoyed spending time with family and with his many friends in the outdoors. He was an avid boater, fisherman and hunter. He was employed as a deckhand at Crescent Towing Company in Savannah.
He is survived by his parents, Pat and Cathy Parker; his sister, Emily Parker; his grandparents, Billy and Marya Phillips; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation: Friday, March 8, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Funeral Services: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church; service officiants will be Fr. Jason Adams and Deacon Dewain Smith.
Interment: Forest Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers are Will Phillips, Andrew Humphrey, Andrew Johnson, Michael Johnson, Logan Johnson, Zach Pochet, Asa Anderson and Reidar Groover.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made to The Chuck Phillips Memorial Scholarship Fund c/o Benedictine Military School, 6502 Seawright Drive, Savannah, GA 31406.

I think back to all the baseball games when you would hear the thud of the bat and Cathy yelling 'Run Buddy Run' and all the mornings I would wake up and find Brian on my couch.
