I met Mr. Allen in October of last year while I was on TAD in Beaufort, SC. He probably do not remember me nor my name but he managed to leave a memory that I will surely remember my entire life. I was born and raised in the Philippines and lived in California for almost a decade now and never had I seen a gator until I went to South Carolina. Thanks to Mr. Allen who patiently drove us in a tiny golf cart around the beautiful golf course in Parris Island and took us 30 minutes just to see one. I had the biggest smile on my face that afternoon! I felt a great amount of sadness when I read the email regarding his passing. My condolences goes to his beloved family.
