Judy was a loving mother, grandmother and sister, a true friend who never met a stranger, and someone who was always willing to help someone in need.

Judith Jones Rowe passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, June 5th 2019.

Judy was born on April 11, 1945 to Marion and Margaret Howard. She was raised in Thunderbolt, GA and lived for more than 25 years on Tybee Island, where she raised her children, Casey and Angie. Judy ran a shrimp boat with her husband Bubba, owned and operated Shrimp Net Restaurant and owned Outback Café. Upon retirement, Judy returned to Thunderbolt where she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Judy was a loving mother, grandmother and sister, a true friend who never met a stranger, and someone who was always willing to help someone in need. She is proceeded in death by her parents, her brother, Patrick Howard; her sister, Margaret (Margie) Howard; her husband, Bubba Rowe; and her daughter, Angela Vitagliano.

Judy is survived by her sister, Louise Moye; son, Casey Jones; daughter-in-law; Sarah Jones; grandson, Adam Vitagliano; granddaughters, Peyton Jones and Hailey Vitagliano; two great-grandchildren, Paxton and Preston; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday June 14, 2019 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest that donations be made in Judy's memory to the Humane Society for Greater Savannah, 7215 Sallie Mood Drive, Savannah, GA 31406.
