Although we couldn't be there with you all today, we mourn deeply with you. With the Lord's help, we will soon see a new life born into the family ... shining hope that each step of our journey in Christ ends and begins with new life. Joe and I love you all as you were our own family. - Miss Georgia & Joe Byrd

- Georgia Byrd, Savannah, GA

Linda, I will always remember our Mondays alone Sarah too at Horst & Company & your shampoos which no one could ever compare to, as well as, our Saturday private time...you are the greatest friend, hairdresser, mentor, co-worker, and you never forgot to say to me, 'give me a hug, and I love you girl.' You listened to me and gave me the straight up gospel truth as God would see it and work thru it. Your faith is the best, and I pray that God will continue to bless me with that strong trust in him that you always shared with me. If we all could be as loving and giving as you are, this world would be a better place. You touched my life, always had faith in me, and never gave up on me when you knew I was going thru some rough situations. You pushed me to move forward with God, and assured me that he had the big plan for me. If ever there was an angel on this earth, you would be it. Linda, I know you are watching over me & I love you, Carol Phillips

I went through school with 'Linda Kay' as we called her, and accompanied her when she sang for various contests. Because it was one of my mother's favorite songs, I particularly remember her singing Danny Boy at a talent contest at the Mechanicsburg homecoming. I think we probably were in junior high at the time. I remember that gorgeous red hair, her lovely voice and how fun she was. Sympathy to the Lane and Byerline families. I hope you draw comfort from wonderful memories of my childhood friend who's been taken far too soon. Sincerely, Donna Matthews
