Dear Greg Fed family, I am so sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories of Fed--from seventh grade math to his staunch defense as our 'stopper' on the soccer team. But most of all, Fed and I spent hours each day in ninth grade 'betting' on baseball. We had long calls at night making our picks and long scraps of paper documenting them. I don't think we ever actually exchanged any money. That wasn't the point.
