Wilmington Island - Annette Hunter Ford, 76, died on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Summer Breeze. She was born in Surrency, Georgia and lived in Savannah. Ms. Ford graduated from Armstrong Junior College. After college, Ms. Ford worked for Union Camp Corporation until she joined Southern Marine Company and later Georgia Healthcare Partnership, retiring in 2000. She attended Wilmington Island Presbyterian Church.

Ms. Ford was active in many civic organizations. She was a member of the Junior League of Savannah, The Telfair Women's Guild and The Savannah Garden Club. She was an early member of the Savannah Tennis League and loved to play tennis. She had a passion for and loved to play the piano.

Ms. Ford was preceded in death by her mother Annie Hardwick and her father Fredrick Hunter. Surviving are her son, Bruce Pringle Ford, Jr. and his wife, Carolin of Horn Lake, MS., daughter, Amy Ford Camacho and her husband, Lee of Savannah; grandchildren, Hunter Austin Ford, Tristen Edwards Ford, Francis Patterson Camacho and Sofia Pilar Camacho.

Her family wishes to thank her many beloved friends for their love and support during this difficult time.

Graveside Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 2, 2013 in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
