Jim was one of the first people I worked for when I came to work at Fort Belvoir in 1966. He called me 'Bertie.' I will always remember that smile on his face and twinkle in his eye. My condolences to Jan and his family.

A father's strentgh is deeply rooted in blessings that last.....love of family, faith & honor, kindness, and a giving heart. May all that made him who he was forever be a blessing in your life. I enjoyed each time I spent talking to Jim throughout the years. He had a hand in raising some pretty terrific kids......I am sure he was proud of each of them! My heart goes out to you and the rest of the family during his time. Always in my thoughts!

I first met Jim when I worked for Smitty's many years ago in Beautiful Downtown Dumfries, Virginia. Jim would hang out and help down at the shop, many-many good times and memories. I also owe Jim much more than you can imagine. Jim aided in getting me a job at Ft. Belvoir back in 1984 and 31 years later I'm still there. I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Jim, his kindness and personality will never be forgotten by me. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Leviner family during this difficult time. I will also take time to remember all the good times that I was fortunate enough to share with Jim. God Bless.

We here share the sadness on learning of Jim's passing. I shared duties with Jim at the Fort Belvoir R&D procurement office starting in 1985 and always appreciated his naturally unflappable and often humorous spirit in a sometimes difficult world of contracting.
