He was my Uncle 21 months older but more like a very close brother. He and I along with my younger brother Thad shared many rich experiences growing up together near Bellville. I praise our Loving Lord for many rich memories. Thurman Barrow

Daddy'O!' 'Aaaa, beau.' ... I can hear so well, our greeting of one another when Jr. and I would talk on the phone. I worked for Junior at TIC and almost instantly he took on a fatherly role in my life. At the time of my departure from TIC and his soon retirement, I told him he had given things to me that I would take with me all my life. Indeed he did! A man of uncompromised standards and a clear way of making sure you knew the standard, Jr. was so much more to me than 'just' a boss. He was a friend and a father figure. I treasure having known Jr.; the life principles he taught me and the time we spent together. May the Lord bless all of the Herrington family. Thank you and ...Rest well Daddy'O!
