Savannah- Ann VonWaldner Sims, 85, died Saturday, July 27, 2013 after a long illness.
She was the eleventh of twelve children and loved her family. Her husband of 45 years, Orville, preceded her in death.
Surviving are her son, Jake Sims; three daughters, Cathy Sims, Terri Mobley Steve, Susan Ohsiek Jay, all of Savannah; sister, Rose Sims of Savannah; brother, Joseph VonWaldner of Mims, Florida; brother-in-law, Johnny Sims of Garden City; seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 29, 2013 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
