Anne Farie Ryan

SAVANNAH – Anne Farie Ryan, 87, widow of the late William Anthony Ryan, died peacefully on Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Anne was born in Savannah, and graduated from Savannah High School and St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing. She was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
She is survived by her sons, Andrew Thomas Ryan and his wife, Virginia, of New Orleans, LA, and Michael Joseph Ryan of Rincon; five grandchildren, Hannah Rose Ryan, Christina Ryan Siebers, Jennifer Ryan Stone, Michael Ryan, Jr., and Cheyenne Ryan; several great-grandchildren; a niece, Martha Abelson Scarboro; and several great nieces and great-grand nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Thursday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 16, 2013, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
The family would like to express their gratitude for the wonderful care given to Mrs. Ryan by Coastal Home Care and the staff of St. Joseph's Hospital.
