GUEST BOOK

A true and loyal friend for over 60 years. Thanks for the memories. Rest in peace.

- Bob Register, Savannah,

I will definitely miss my dear neighbor.....Egan was a joy to talk with because he always had a funny story to tell...and I will also miss his happy whistling as he headed down the hall. When I first met Mary and Egan....we sat at the round table in the lobby...we found out we had the same birthday August 19, and that we both had lost our Right kidney.....he said ----- that makes us twins lolol...that was only the beginning of laughter he brought the almost 2 years I knew him. Mary, you know I am here anytime you need me!

Our heartfelt sympathy & condolences to you & family Mary. We will miss Egan & who he was - a very kind & accepting man who loved being a prankster. It is worth telling of his gag of epoxy gluing a quarter to the pavement where he worked on Bay St & his laughing his head off while tourists struggled to pick the quarter up. There are many pranks he pulled which I have told to others & they would roll with laughter & tears in their eyes. Egan will be sorely missed - he was one of a kind & the best kind of friend one could have. May fond memories bring peace to you, his sons & grandchildren.
