Hilda Bryant Brown
August 21, 1933 - September 16, 2013
SAVANNAH – Hilda Bryant Brown, 80, passed away Monday, September 16, 2013, at her home.
A native of Iva, SC, Hilda graduated from Anderson College in Anderson, SC with a bachelor's degree in Nursing. She was a longtime resident of Hendersonville, NC where she was the Assistant Director of Nursing at Carolina Village for more than thirty years. Six years ago she and her husband moved to Savannah to be near their son and his family.
Surviving, all of Savannah, are her husband of 48 years, Loren R. Brown; her son, Charles D. Brown and his wife, Susan; and her two adored granddaughters, Stephanie Elizabeth Brown and Abigail Mackenzie Brown.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 20, 2013, at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.

TO THE FAMILY- I WORKED WITH HILDA AT CAROLINA VILLAGE FOR MANY YEARS.I LEARNED SO MUCH FROM HER GUIDANCE.SHE WAS ALWAYS COMPATIONATE AND RESPECTFUL TO OUR RESIDENTS.SHE WAS ALWAYS WILLING TO LISTEN TO 'HER GIRLS'.SHE HAD A GREAT SENCE OF HUMOR. Danny and I are so very sorry for your loss. We were talking at breakfast about the time Reedie rode with us to meet you at Myrtle Beach and how much fun we had with him and you.
