Dear Mary Ann and Patsy, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your dear sister, Barbara Jean. I remember her well from her visit to our Convent at St. Casimir’s. She was a very dear sister and we enjoyed her company. I am sure that this is very hard for both of you. I have had three Masses said for her at Marcy Home for boys and girls by my dear friend, Father Scott. He is always ready to help me with his Masses and prayers. God bless you both! Know that you are in my daily prayers also. Love always, Sister Marie

My visits to Savannah would not be complete without a visit with Barbara! We had many laughs together, especially when she would say, " Now Jan, I am going to tell you something and I don't want you to tell Mary Ann", I would promise and we would laugh until we cried. Mary Ann still has no idea what we talked about. A promise is a promise! Our trips to the bookstore were unforgettable, what great memories Barbara, thank you. There is consolation knowing that you are with your Creator, and reunited with your Mom and Dad and Frankie.I know there must be a Library in heaven!

Barbara, I miss you already! Didn’t we have fun going to the Beach with all of the family. Staying with Aunt Helen and Uncle Red was a special treat.Every other summer we went to see Grandma and Grandpa Lang and all of our Yankee cousins. You were the greatest swimmer and boy could you read so fast. Keep on smiling (as you never met a stranger )when Jesus opens the gates of Heaven for you. Your loving sister,Patsy Lang Corcoran

So sorry to hear about Barbara. I know Tommy remembers her from Blessed Sacrament, but I knew her from Liberty City Golden Age Center. She was always there with a smile and she loved the activities especially playing bingo. She also loved to read and was always with a book in hand. We had a small lending library and she used it often. May the peace of the Lord be with the whole family during this time. May she Rest In Peace.
