Mary Jane Gallaher McCane

Mary Jane Gallaher McCane passed away Friday, November 15, 2013 after a short illness. She was preceded in death by her husband Dr. J.T. McCane Jr., son Timothy Alan McCane, and her parents Mr. and Mrs. M.C. Gallaher Jr.

She is survived by her son J.T. McCane III, brother M.C. "Buddy" Gallaher III Nancy, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 18, 2013 at First Presbyterian Church, 520 E. Washington Avenue. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. A covered dish reception will immediately follow the service.

Remembrances: In lieu of flowers donations in her name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6600 Abercorn St., Savannah, GA 31405.

Please accept my condolences. I was very sorry to read of Ms. McCane's death. But please take comfort in the fact that sickness and death will soon be things of the past. The Bible promises that Jehovah God 'will swallow up death forever, and....will wipe away the tears from all faces.' Isaiah 2:8
