Christine Roberds Harrison

Savannah- Christine Roberds Harrison, 80, passed away Monday, December 16, 2013 at her daughter's home under the care of Hospice Savannah.
She was a native of Savannah and graduate of Savannah High School, Class of 1950. Mrs. Harrison received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Miami where she was a member of the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. After college she returned to Savannah and worked with the family business, Roberds Dairy, until its closing in 1986. Preceding her in death are her husband, James C. Harrison, Jr.; parents, Clifford Nicholes Roberds, Jr. and Tillie Walz Roberds, and her brother, Clifford Nicholes Roberds, III.
Survivors include her daughter, Christy Harrison Redmond and her husband, Brian; granddaughter, Brianna Redmond, and numerous cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.
A graveside service with Pastor Peter J. Hartmann officiating will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2013 in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
Remembrances may be made to the Humane Society for Greater Savannah, 7215 Sallie Mood Dr., Savannah, GA 31406.
