Besse Rae Youmans
December 18, 1926 - January 25, 2014
Savannah- Besse Rae Youmans, 87, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Summer Breeze under the care of United Hospice.
She was born in Gordon, Georgia and was a homemaker. Her husband of 55 years, Lynwood Youmans, preceded her in death.
Surviving are her sons, Ray Youmans of Tallahassee, FL, Lyn Youmans of Florence, SC; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 31, 2014 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
