Dewey Jackson Amyx passed away February 18th after a long illness. He was born on November 8th, 1943.
He is survived by his wife Donna, eight children and 14 grandchildren. He was also survived by three sisters, a brother and an aunt. He will be greatly missed by all those who loved him. He was loved by all who met him. He was a great man.
The visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 21, 2014 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.
The graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 22, 2014 in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
