Huyen Thi Tran, 64, died Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Memorial University Medical Center. She was born July 20, 1949 in Vietnam. She was a member of St. Peter and St. Paul Catholic Church. She worked for 45 South, The Hyatt Regency, and Skyler's Restaurants.
Surviving are her husband, Tin Xuan Tran, two daughters, Cecilia Quynh Arango, and Julia Quyen Cruzan, son, Anthony D. Tran, four grandchildren, Alex Arango, Camille Arango, Ava Cruzan, and Lilly Cruzan, all of Savannah. Also surviving are four sisters, Thau Thi Tran, Thiec Thi Dinh, Betty Ben, Annie Pham, and one brother, Thien Chi Ngo, and several nieces and nephews, and other relatives.
Visitation and Rosary will be Thursday, March 20, 2014 and Friday, March 21, 2014, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 22, 2014 at St. Peter and St. Paul Catholic Church in Thunderbolt.
Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery.
