Dear Jeanette, Dawn and Dean, Jeff and Laura, Sarah and David, Madeline, and Rebecca, We are hurting for you and with you in your loss of Ken. Uncle Ken was a fun and laid back guy, generous and hospitable. I always enjoyed being around him, even though our times together were few and far between. We will miss him at Berry reunions. I can’t even imagine how much you will miss him. We are praying that God will surround you with his comfort and remind you of all the best memories. Hugs from the Fariss bunch, Sherry and Yancy

The boys and all send love and prayers to Jeannette and all the Richburg’s. Life was fun in Quincy and we all grew up together. Heck, the grown ups were still kids with babies back then. We’ve stayed in touch and loved our memories. Ken was a good Christian man and friend. I loved his stories about meeting J and being a long way from home. There was so much love in their house in Quincy, Richmond Hill and Savannah. Rest well my friend.

- The Futch Family, Mt. Pleasant, SC

What a great loss to a big bunch of people. Wonderful man to know. As fans of AirCraft Carriers, which he's served on, we had plans to go see the movie "Midway" as soon as he got better. Sad it never happened. And on Sunday morning services, Ken was simply the best in giving the announcements. Will be missed so much. Look forward to seeing him again post resurrection. Peace
