Sally and Suzanne I am so sorry to hear about Steve. You are in my prayers.

To the the Wimbish family....It is hard for me to say goodbye to Steve. I will miss him so much. It has meant so much to our family -for so many years to have him a part of our lives. I will be able to spend much time remembering shared experiences of our lifetimes. He is one of those people like my family whom I will look for first when we meet on the other side! Love you so much, Steve!

I have wonderful memories of Steve from our youth in Rome, and more recently at my wedding to Sally Wright, another long time friend of Steve's. We will miss him terribly and our heart goes out to the family. Our prayers will be with you as you go through this difficult time.

- Frank Shropshire, Rome, GA

Sally and Suzanne, Tommy and I were so saddened to learn of Steve's death. As you know, he and Tommy were fast friends through high school and I so enjoyed seeing him at our Tybee Island Thanksgiving several years ago. Our most recent fond memory was seeing him at the East Rome/West Rome 5oth High School reunion. What a character! He will be missed and Tommy and I send our love to you both. Jenny Rainwater and Tommy Fricks

Rest in peace, old friend.

Steve, none of us have the words to say how much you will be missed. Nobody could match your quick wit. Take all the great comics of today,or back to those in our day, Like, 'Dave Gardner & his bit on Rome,Ga', you are the 'The King of Comedy', we will miss how you share your heart, your love, with everyone. We will let you go tho, knowing of the many smiles you will bring to Heaven.
