Dear Patsy,Charlie,Katie and John;We just learned of your father/grandfather's passing when we returned home yesterday. We are so sorry for your loss. You did your father proud with the tribute to him. He was a great man to have known and your mom was a wonderful lady.I never knew exactly where I stood with him as a teenager but as time passed we had some great conversations at the restaurant and when I would see him at Savannah Commons. Our prayers are with each of you during this time. Donna and Larry Corey

My heart is heavy as Savannah Commons and myself personally have lost a dear friend. I knew him only a short time and got to know his family when they were so generous to donate items to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Thank you again and I will be praying for you during this time and forward. You are special people and God will give you strength during this time. Love, Gail

How I met Bacon Park Commissioner, Joseph O'Loughlin - He kept reading headlines about people in Bacon Park 'fighting' and kept calling down to the Chatham County Manger's office to find out how to get in touch with me. County Manager Pat Monahan finally gave in and called me. He said, 'there is a n elderly gentleman who knows a lot about Bacon Park and he wants to meet you.' I went to visit Mr. O'Loughlin and met his wife Mary. I will always treasure all of our conversations and a lot of the laughs we shared. This includes writing letters to the Editor of the newspaper which most all of them were dictated to me by Joe O'Loughlin. Elizabeth Scott - Bacon Park Association
