GARDEN CITY – Zona Lamb Strickland, 95, died Thursday, May 15, 2014, at her home.
A native and lifelong resident of Savannah and Garden City, she operated a Kindergarten in Garden City for many years. She was a member of Garden City Baptist Church. Mrs. Strickland was preceded in death by her husband, Henry T. Strickland, three brothers, and her parents.
Surviving are a sister, Betty L. Gustafson of Sylvania, GA, a brother, Kenneth Lamb of Bentonville, AR, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, May, 19, 2014, at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
Remembrances may be made to Garden City Baptist Church.
