Annette Carlyle

Annette Teague Carlyle, born October 19, 1931, died July 29, 2014 at Hospice House. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul G. Teague, and mother Allie C. Teague, brothers, Tom Willis, and Paul G. Teague, Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 63 ½ years, Thomas E. Carlyle, son, Thomas E. Carlyle, Jr. (Alice), daughter, Cynthia A. Johnson (Gary), and sister in Charleston, SC, Beverly Ksenzak (Mark).
Annette graduated from Savannah High School, class of 1949, and from the Candler School of Nursing in 1951. She nursed at Telfair (Labor & Delivery) for 10 years and at Memorial Medical Center for 37 years.
She played golf at Bacon Park in The Ladies Blitz and also The Savannah Women’s Golf Association. She made a hole in one on #9 at Bacon Park on May 13, 1999.
Her proudest accomplishment were her 2 wonderful children.
A Memorial Visitation will be held Thursday, July 31, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Hospice Savannah, P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416.
