Pat did win that game and I think that was our only score. She was a warm, kind, caring, gentle person. Andy Stebbing, Coach Stebbing Stealers.

- Andy Stebbing, Lincoln, Ne

I remember the Powder Puff flag football game like it was yesterday. Played under the lights at Memorial Field. Kathy was the QB and I had an amazing team. We were in a nail biter with the Ronspies Rowdies. I called the play from the sideline. "I formation..split right, slot right, 38 quick pitch." Kathy trotted from the sideline and called the play in the huddle. We were man heavy to the right side and Pat was shifting his D to that side. Kathy took the snap, reversed pivoted, faked the pitch to Karen Paust, the I back, who was heading towards the 8 hole, with lots of blocking. Instead, Kathy fakes the pitch and sprints towards the 7 hole, passes the defensive end, makes the corner and is untouched for a 30 yard td. Jogging back to the sideline, I said, "Nice job but we don't have a fake 38 quick pitch" and Kathy, smiling, giggles and says, "I think you should add it." True story. Pat did win that game and I think that was our only score. She was a warm, kind, caring, gentle person.

- Andy Stebbing, Lincoln, Ne

AS soon as Chuck told me about Kathy I started crying and I'm still crying just seeing her picture! She was a beautiful person inside and out. We lost touch over the years. I would see her at Kroger now and then and I always wanted to hug her. Sometimes I did! She and Danny were a perfect match! He was devoted to her and she was to him. What more could you ask for in life? My heart breaks for you Danny and for all of us who adored her! God Bless. Judy farrell

I am so sorry that Kathy was unable to pull through this tragic illness. In such a brief period of time, she touched the hearts of many of us, as did you (Danny) and Pam. Praying you'll have courage, strength & hope as you face the days ahead.

Pat did win that game and I think that was our only score. She was a warm, kind, caring, gentle person. Andy Stebbing, Coach Stebbing Stealers.
