SAVANNAH – Anne Mashburn Pearce, 87, died Thursday, September 4, 2014 at The Oaks at the Marshes of Skidaway Island. Mrs. Pearce was a native of Rochelle, Georgia, living in the Chicago area for many years before retiring to the Landings on Skidaway Island in 1986. Mrs. Pearce was a graduate of Wesleyan College and was a band director and piano teacher in Rochelle, GA before she began raising her children. Mrs. Pearce was a member of the Landings Club, Skidaway Island Presbyterian Church, the P.O.E., and was an avid Georgia Bulldog Fan.

Surviving are her sons, Robert Pearce and wife Debbie of Lakeland Florida and Kem Pearce of Kildeere, Illinois. Also surviving are her grandchildren, RJ Pearce III, Heather Pearce McBride and her husband Scottie, Jackson Pearce and Kyle Pearce; and a great-grandson, Jay Pearce McBride.

A Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Skidaway Island Presbyterian Church.

Entombment will be in the Morningside Cemetery in Rochelle, Georgia at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, September 12, 2014.
