Passed away on September 19, 2014
Betty Hodges, 72, of Augusta, Georgia entered into eternal rest on September 19, 2014. Mrs. Hodges was employed by Walmart for 10 years and loved talking to everyone who came in. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul W. Hodges.
She is survived by a son, Steve and his wife Debbie, grandchildren, Heather, Matthew and Alyssa, great grandchildren, Payton, Willow and a new angel, Thackariah due any day, sisters, Evangeline Weeks, Mary Ellington and her husband, Aubrey, Fran Pye and her husband, Ralph and brothers, Hogan Connor and his wife, Beverly, Emerson Connor and his wife, Sonya. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Betty’s life will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, September 22, 2014 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 23, 2014 in the Hodgson Chapel of Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Abbey West on Dean Forest Road.

dear family of miss betty, she was one of the kindest and loving lady's we knew, she always was smiling, positive and sweet. she was a good friend to my parents and they loved visiting with her at wal-mart when they shopped. we could be miles away in thoughts and she would meet us with a friendly greetings and hugs that would bring you back to that place in your heart that knows the love of family, friends and home. her face will be missed from her post but in our hearts the memory of this dear lady will remain, smiling.you all are in our thoughts and prayers. sincerely,the goods in martinez, ga.
