Scott Hoag

Savannah- Scott Hoag, 39, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at his home under the care of Hospice.

Scott was born in Findlay, OH and lived the last eighteen years in Savannah. He was a 2003 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a degree in Accounting. Over the past years, he worked at various accounting firms and restaurants, and when his health allowed, he was a frequent volunteer at Oatland Island Wildlife Center.

Survivors include his mother, Patricia Hoag of Savannah; father, Claude Hoag of St. Louis; sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Brett Tatom; niece, Brianna Tatom, all of Savannah, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and many friends who will all miss him dearly.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Hospice Savannah, Inc. PO Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416.

Elijah thought it was cool that an adult would take the time to talk with him. That was Scott - a caring and nice individual! I know he is in heaven and we all will see him again.
