Susan Garner Hamilton

Susan Garner Hamilton, 70, died Friday, October 24, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was born in Savannah, daughter of Johns J. and Caroline Bumann Hamilton.  She graduated from Savannah High School and attended Armstrong Junior College and Ringling School of Art.  Susan relocated to Atlanta and worked with Delta Airlines, retiring after 28 years of service.  She moved back to Savannah where she was very active. She enjoyed painting, playing the piano, kayaking, square dancing and bowling.

Surviving are a niece, Marcie Hamilton of Lilburn; nephew, Joey Hamilton of Lilburn; several cousins, other relatives and her beloved dog, Gracie.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 28, 2014 in the Hodgson Chapel of Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors. Interment will follow in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
