GUEST BOOK

Donny's quiet kindness made our St Michael's class all the more memorable. He always defended the smaller guy, was our quarterback for the Tybee Dolphins, and lightened the mood during the more miserable duties of the parochial student. He taught me the tricks of altar service and we spent many a morning cracking each other up. The incense sensor incident is altar-boy legend. We are lucky to have him in our lives. Condolences to his Family and Friends.

I went to Saint Michael's, BC, and played football with Donny. I remember him as a great athlete and humble friend that was kind to everyone. I also remember Donny as being the most conscientious alter server. One time I recall that he filled up the incense, lit it off, and almost smoked us out of Saint Michael's. Father Payne sat there looking stunned. My thoughts and prayers are with the family, and I'm very sad.

- John Marcantonio, Seattle, WA

Our prayers are with you all family and friends! For all of the interesting and funny story with him in the middle...THANK YOU GOD!

I am still in shock and so sad. I hadn't talked to Donny in a while, but I still considered him a friend. We went to St. Michael's, BC and St. Andrew's together, not to mention being on the lacrosse team, being alter servers and just hanging out at his house. Plus all the rides we took in that orange Pinto!! I miss you man.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost touch with your family other than occasionally seeing Joel from time to time, but have vivid memories of Donny as a child playing at Tybee. I always liked your family very much and regret that your going through this. I lost my brother Danny last month at the age of 49 and these untimely deaths are so hard to understand. I hope that you all take comfort in knowing that as difficult as it is to see right now, Donny is in a better place and as long as everyone continues to celebrate the joy he brought to so many people throughout his life, he will live on in everyone who carries him in their hearts. Thoughts and prayers from the entire McCutchen family.
