Savannah- Catherine Sasser Miller, 91, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Hospice Savannah. Catherine was a life-long resident of Savannah where she worked at the Chatham County Public Library for 31 years. She was a member of Thunderbolt Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William N. Miller, Jr.; parents, Clifton & Edith Sasser; sister, Doris Farner, and brother, Sonny Sasser.
Surviving are her children, Linda Rahn (Pete), William N. Miller, III and Ralph C. Miller; grandchildren, Keith Winders, Chad Miller, Patricia Miller, Andrew Powers, Michelle Powers; great-grandchildren, Kayla & Kobey Winders, Cameron Miller, Riley & Katelyn Miller; nieces, Nancy Richards, Angela Davis; nephews, Bill Farner, Ronnie Winkler, David Miller, and cousin, Fayrene Patterson.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.
The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 7, 2015 at the Islands Chapel. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
