Vaughn D. Jernigan

Vaughn D. Jernigan, 64, died Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Hospice Savannah.

He was born September 22, 1954 in Savannah. He was preceded in death by his parents Bruce Jernigan and Frances Goodman Jernigan.

Vaughn was a 1972 graduate of Savannah Christian High School.  He was employed for over twenty years with Forest Lawn Memory Gardens where he served as a family service counselor.

Surviving are his wife Donnie Hall Jernigan; son, Dorian Jernigan; daughters, Michele Wooten (Scott) and Nicole Hair (Thomas); six grandchildren and two brothers, Lloyd Jernigan (Peggy) and Dave Jernigan

A memorial service is planned for 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that remembrances be made to the Shriners  Hospital for Children or Hospice Savannah.
