GUEST BOOK

Bill, Our most sincere condolences. Meeting you and Posy when we moved to the Landings opened a treasure of memories for me. Learning how you two met playing tennis in the Philadelphia area and of her attending "Mercy" Academy where I attended dances with a classmate of Posy's brought me to have a special admiration and connection with her. We Philly types really appreciate such connections. Your wonderful caring for your Dear Wife is especially admired by all who know you. Jerry and Ann Hipp

My thoughts and prayers are with Posy and her family She was a good friend at Mercy, epecially to a non=Catholic girl, arriving at Mercy knowing no one, dresed in a dowdy dress, chosen by her mother only to find it a special dress day and all the girl in lovely patels...Posy noticed me and made me feel right at home. I'm sure she was greated the same way when she was received into her new heaenly home. Pat Leter Kent

It was the day after Thanksgiving. It was my first day at the Academy of the Sisters of Mercy and alone I boarded a school bus for the 30 minute ride to school. I had never been on a school bus and all of this (new school, new people, new house, new uniform), was scary. There were no helicopter parents in those days. When I climbed the steps onto the bus, there was Posey waiting for me. Maybe her parents made her do it, but I like to think she was just a friendly 6th grader who knew I needed a smile and somewhere to sit. I never forgot her even after all these years. i also think, she instilled in me a sense of how important it is to reach out to anyone beginning a new and maybe scary adventure.
