Celebrating the life of
Edith Elizabeth "Liz" Pease
March 14, 1922 - June 25, 2015
SAVANNAH - I was born in what was a rural hospital in Salem, Oregon. I was the second of 4 children born to Frank Martz and Bessie Regal Martz. Frank, Don and Bessie Pearl have all preceded me to the other side.
I grew up in Ashland, Oregon, graduated from high school and met my future husband there, George E. Pease. We were married August 25, 1940 and raised 3 sons. One, Richard, has also preceded me in this journey. George, the oldest, lives in West Chesterfield, PA. The second, Donald, lives here in Savannah, GA.
I have left on that joyful journey this 25th day of June, 2015. I have chosen a cremation and a gathering at Isle of Hope United Methodist Church on Isle of Hope on Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at 12:00 p.m. The internment will be in Washelli Cemetery in Seattle, WA with my husband.
Thank you God for all the joy and happiness you have given me in this life and may I see you all in the next. With love and caring,
Liz

Please accept my sympathy on the recent loss of Mrs. Liz Pease. Although I did not know her personally, from the expressions she will certainly be missed. Although death is temporary, it still affects us. Yet, we can look forward to the fulfillment of the promise as indicated in the account found within the Holy Scriptures at John 11:11, 13, 25, 26.

Rest in peace, Liz. Thank you for being a wonderful grandmother to my boys, CJ and Justin. We all have fond memories of our visits and you spoiling my boys. They had tears when they learned of her passing but her memories will stay in their hearts. Liz was good to my father and my family. I know she is in a better place now. Until we meet again. Bless you.

Mrs. Pease will be missed by all of us at Azalealand . She is in God's hands now. Take care of each other. Live life. Life does go on. That will honor her memory. You are never alone.

God Bless Liz. She was a wonderful lady. She was always kind to me and my kids. We all loved her very much. She was a lot of fun to kid around with and she would always give me look when I would remind her about when I first met her and she fixed fried chicken ant slice tomatoes. No, that wasn't me she would say with a look, then we would laugh about it. I miss her, but know she is in a better place. God bless her family.
