I was deeply saddened to learn of Tom's passing and am truly sorry for your loss. I only knew Tom through emails, which came about by accident on a mutual friend's Facebook page a couple years ago. He was very helpful to me when I was trying to find records on my father, also a Marine. I will miss his "on the road" updates. He seemed like a great guy.

My heart was broken when I heard of Tom going to be with our Lord yet I also knew he suffered no longer. He fought a long and courageous battle with "The Beast", as any U.S. Marine would, but in the end it took him from us. Tom I will remember the good time we had at Scott's farm, truly an honor to have helped. I will miss you Brother as well as the many "Trip Updates" that you posted on your way back to the homestead. I am so sorry for your loss. Tom was my Mom's first cousin. I only met him in person a couple times on our family's summer visits to NY because he was always away somewhere in the Marines. My Mom always spoke so highly of "Tommy", she really thought the world of him. I felt I got to know him better in recent years thanks to Facebook. I know he was a good man. My condolences to all of the Jennings family and Tom's loved ones. I know you will all miss him dearly. Rest in Peace.
