Elizabeth Ayers Chandler

Elizabeth Ayers Chandler, 91, passed away on July 21, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Samuel N. Ayers and Adrienne Gaines Ayers. She was born and grew up in the Reed Creek Community of Hart County, Georgia. Her four brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
As a young woman she served in the U.S. Navy during WW II. She married the late Fred M. Chandler, and, during their marriage resided in Augusta, Atlanta and Savannah, Georgia. In Savannah, she was employed at B&B Pawn Co. until she retired.
She is survived by her two daughters, Jan Chandler and Susan Reese both of Savannah; five grandchildren, David Reese, Adam Reese, Sarah Reese, Lillian Chandler and Jessica Britt; four great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held for family members on July 24, 2015.
You are missed Grandma. We talk about you all the time and your memory lives on. Thanks for everything you have done for all of us. Love ya!
