Donald Casey, Sr.
Passed away on August 10, 2015
Don Casey, age 70, died Monday, August 10,2015. He was born December 22, 1944 in Manhattan, N.Y. Mr. Casey most recently retired from the Walmart on Wilmington Island, where he earned his nickname of Walmart Don. He lived most of his life in New Jersey. He had a passion for cars and spent the majority of his life working as a mechanic at his own gas stations.
He loved NASCAR racing, collecting coins, and making people laugh. He was preceded in death by his wife Laura Casey. He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Hamill Manzanares, of Ocala, Fl., son Donald Casey of Ocala, and siblings Bruce Casey, Richard Casey, and Cindy Casey. Also, he leaves behind 3 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors Islands Chapel. A reception to honor the memory of Don's life will be held immediately following the service at Cheers to You located behind Publix on Wilmington Island.

May you find comfort in the loving promise found at Revelation 21:4 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.
