My heart goes out to each of you that knew and dearly loved Kevin. I didn't know Kevin personally but from what I've read it sounds like he was a kind and loving young man. The loss of our loved ones is the hardest thing we will face in this life. However, a day is coming, for those that our trusting in Jesus Christ as Savior, where the sting of death will be forever removed. My prayer for my family is to know Christ as Savior as evidenced by our love for Him and the living out of our lives for Him. I'm also praying that you are comforted by God. I love you and will continue praying for your peace in the midst of hearts that are broken with grief. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 2 Corinthians 1:3 ESV Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.
